Kambi has signed a multi-year sportsbook partnership with Mexican operator Pickwin, continuing its expansion across Latin America.
The agreement will see Kambi provide its full turnkey sportsbook platform to Pickwin, replacing the operator’s existing technology supplier. The partnership will support Pickwin’s online sportsbook operations in Mexico, where competition among licensed operators has increased steadily in recent years.
Kambi said the deal follows earlier agreements in regulated markets and aligns with its focus on long-term partnerships rather than short-term market entry.
Technology migration underway
Pickwin will migrate its sportsbook operations to Kambi’s platform which includes their managed trading services, pricing tools, and sportsbook management infrastructure. They will also deploy Kambi’s Bet Builder product.
Pickwin Co-founder and CEO Diego Sanchez said the company selected Kambi based on its experience in regulated markets and its established presence in Latin America.
According to Sanchez, “Partnering with Kambi marks a pivotal moment for Pickwin as we continue our rapid growth in Mexico’s thriving sports betting market. Kambi’s reputation in the region gives us the confidence to deliver a premium experience to our players and we are excited about the opportunities this collaboration will present.”
Pickwin operates in a market where player expectations have shifted towards faster in-play betting and improved mobile usability.
Operators are also facing stricter requirements around responsible gambling and data protection, which has affected how platforms are chosen. The move to a turnkey solution is intended to let Pickwin continue developing its sportsbook while meeting regulatory expectations.
Kambi continues regional growth
Kambi Group CEO Werner Becher said the agreement supports the company’s approach of working with licensed operators in regulated markets, stating, “We are excited to partner with Pickwin and support their vision in delivering world-class sports betting experiences throughout Mexico. Our proven track record in Latin America, combined with our deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, makes this the ideal partnership to support sustainable growth.”
Kambi supplies sportsbook technology to more than 50 operators worldwide, covering over 60 jurisdictions. Its client list includes Bally’s, LeoVegas, LiveScore Group, ATG, and Rush Street Interactive.
Mexico is considered one of the larger sports betting markets in Latin America. Football continues to account for the majority of betting activity, with interest in US sports and esports also increasing.
Mobile usage has played a significant role in shaping product development in the country. As a result, operators have focused on improving live betting performance and platform stability rather than launching large volumes of new features.
Regulatory requirements have also tightened. Licensing, player protection, and responsible gambling controls now form a central part of platform selection for operators active in the market.
Recent partnerships
The agreement with Pickwin follows a number of other partnerships signed by Kambi over the past year.
In Europe, Kambi recently expanded its Dutch footprint through a new sportsbook partnership with Holland Casino. The deal strengthened the supplier’s presence in the Netherlands after the market’s transition to regulated online betting.
In North America, Kambi renewed its agreement with PENN Entertainment in late 2025. The renewal extended the partnership across several US state-regulated markets until mid-2027.
Kambi said these agreements support its existing partnerships rather than signalling a shift in strategy. The company has stated that it is prioritising regulated markets and longer-term contracts, particularly where operators are looking to simplify their technology stacks.
For Pickwin, the partnership provides access to an established sportsbook platform as competition in the Mexican market continues. The operator said the agreement will allow it to focus on day-to-day operations while relying on Kambi for trading and risk management support.
No specific timeline has been confirmed, however the press release stated that the partnership is “scheduled to launch imminently”.
