Absolutebet Corp has announced a significant partnership with Lemon Group that will see multiple casino assets tokenised and listed on the LEMONCHAIN network.

The move marks one of the most ambitious attempts to merge regulated iGaming operations with blockchain infrastructure, positioning both companies at the forefront of a growing movement around real world asset tokenisation.

The deal comes following months of collaboration between the two groups. Absolutebet will begin tokenising land-based casino properties and their digital counterparts, creating what both companies describe as the first fully regulated tokenised casino ecosystem.

Regulated gaming meets blockchain

The companies say their partnership is designed to give investors a regulated way to buy into casino assets through blockchain technology. In practice, this means using digital tokens to represent real properties while ensuring the whole system is monitored by the same regulators that oversee traditional operators.

Speaking exclusively to SiGMA News, Founder of LemonChain,io Dr. Fahed AL Meraabi said, “absolutebet represents a new standard for transparency and trust in iGaming, combining regulated operations with blockchain-based accountability.”

The initiative builds on absolutebet’s approval for an Ontario iGaming licence in August. The company is preparing for launch in the province in late 2025/early 2026 and is positioning the tokenisation project as an extension of its regulated market approach. Absolutebet is headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, and has indicated that additional markets may follow once regulatory pathways are in place.

Building a tokenised casino ecosystem

The partnership’s first phase involves converting absolutebet-affiliated casino properties into digital tokens that represent fractional ownership or participation. These assets will then appear exclusively on the LEMONCHAIN Marketplace.

According to the companies, the model is designed to give players, investors and partners access to real, land-based casino exposure while maintaining strict compliance with local regulations. It also opens a new avenue for financing, allowing absolutebet to raise capital against tokenised assets.

Thomas Huggins, President of Royal Casino Group and LEMONCHAIN.io partner told SiGMA News, “With absolutebet, we are bridging the world of traditional casino entertainment and digital assets in a way that enhances both player experience and regulatory integrity.”

Huggins added that the combined value of absolutebet’s tokenised ecosystem could reach approximately $500 million once fully operational. He described the structure as a way for gaming operators to expand responsibly while offering investors tangible exposure to entertainment infrastructure.

BOOST Token to power engagement

The collaboration also includes the integration of the BOOST Token, Lemon Group’s native token used for rewards, engagement and liquidity support across the Lemon ecosystem. Both teams say BOOST will act as the connective layer between the tokenised assets and future gaming features.

The first tokenised assets are scheduled to go live in Q1 2026. Additional releases will follow throughout the year, with each phase expected to undergo regulatory review to ensure compliance in every jurisdiction involved.

Demonstrating a new model for the industry

Beyond the initial asset listings, the companies plan to explore a wider range of blockchain integrations. Early proposals include on-chain loyalty programmes, tokenised player rewards and decentralised payment systems designed to increase efficiency across the gaming supply chain.

The two firms say the project shows how regulated gaming companies can use blockchain in a controlled and transparent way. They see it attracting players who want to understand where their money goes and investors who are interested in owning a slice of the underlying properties.

By going down this route, absolutebet becomes one of the first regulated iGaming brands to experiment with tokenised assets and industry watchers will be keeping an eye on whether it encourages other operators to follow.
