Argentina leads as final table locks in ahead of R$205,000 SPT showdown
As the SiGMA Poker Tour’s Brazil leg heads into its final day, all eyes turn to tonight’s high-stakes finale, where the champion is set to walk away with a substantial top prize of over R$200,000.
The field has been whittled down from almost 500 entries to just nine players, setting the stage for what promises to be a life-changing final table. Eight Brazilian players remain in play, while Brian Ganon – the only non-local – flies the flag for Argentina with 4,385,000, carrying the chip advantage into a tense showdown.
Ganon is closely followed by Helton Richard with 3,265,000 chips – currently a favourite amongst spectators following early leads on promo day, consistency and the kind of mindset that could see him knock Ganon off his plinth. Mathias Guimarães sits in third place with 3,015,000.
The top three are followed by Marcos Silva with 2,235,000, Rodrigo Bueno with 1,390,000, Munir Berno with 1,250,000, Silvio Weyne with 1,180,000, Julio Santista with 815,000, and, in the ninth seat and holding the lowest stack, Diego Coutinho with 525,000.

Ganon’s presence adds an extra layer of intrigue to the narrative. Surrounded by eight Brazilian opponents, he’ll need to navigate not only deep stacks and high pressure but also a table dynamic where familiarity and home turf advantage could play a deciding role.
Ganon is certainly the man to beat right now – and although somewhat under the radar, he bears solid credentials in the field.
With total live tournament earnings of $296,555 and a career-best cash of $28,040, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to perform across competitive fields. Beyond the live felt, he’s also a proven force online, boasting notable success in WSOP Online events – experience which could hold him in good stead tonight.
As the chip leader, his large stack could certainly give him an early advantage, steering things his way. But with eight determined Brazilians snapping at his heels, there’s no telling which way the wind will blow as players snap out of survival mode into tactical strategies that have until now remained within the shadows.

The tour runs from 27 to 31, before making its way to Manila from the 31st to 04 June.
