Blokotech has confirmed the Global Padel Tour 2026, a four-stop circuit built around padel, industry networking and the international iGaming community, delivered in partnership with SiGMA. The Padel Tour takes in Buenos Aires, Malta, Miami and Rome, timed to coincide with key fixtures on the sector calendar, including SAGSE, SBC Miami and SiGMA World.
Bringing sport and business together
The Tour begins in Buenos Aires on 16 March, before the tour moves to Malta on 28 April and Miami on 09 June, with the Grand Finale set for Rome on 02 November during SiGMA World. Each tournament is set to host a minimum of 24 pairs, split across Beginners and Advanced competitions, with prizes awarded to first and second place finishers in both categories.
Alongside matches, each stop is designed as a social gathering, with catering, music, and on-site photography and video. The aim is simple: give delegates and guests a setting where introductions feel natural and conversations have room to develop beyond the conference floor.
A finale with meaning
Set against the wider rhythm of SiGMA World in Rome, the finale is designed to feel like a natural extension of the summit week rather than a stand alone sporting event. With the city already hosting the industry’s core conversations, the closing tournament offers a more relaxed setting for familiar faces to reconnect, and for new introductions to happen away from meeting rooms and exhibition aisles, before delegates return to the main programme.
Prizes, media coverage and on-site content will be geared towards giving the final its own sense of occasion, while keeping it closely tied to the summit experience. In practical terms, it positions Rome as both the sporting climax of the Blokotech Padel Tour and a social anchor point during SiGMA’s busiest week, where competition, networking and community are expected to overlap in a way that feels informal but purposeful.
Blokotech Co-Founder and CEO Salvatore Messina said padel carries a close connection to Latin America, reflecting the company’s own roots, and described the tour as a way to bring iGaming leaders together through competition shaped by community and passion. SiGMA added that “the collaboration reflects its wider focus on experiences that help the industry connect in more informal, human settings.”
