Bloomberry’s MegaFUNalo launches trust-focused live dealer studio
Bloomberry Resorts Corporation has launched a new set of live studio games on its online platform megaFUNalo, introducing what it says is the Philippines’ first fully transparent live dealer studio aimed at building player trust in online casino gaming.
The company said the new studio format allows players to see every aspect of gameplay in real time, a move aimed at addressing growing demand for authenticity and fairness in digital gambling environments.
At the centre of the setup is a complete glass gaming table, which Bloomberry says is an industry-first design intended to provide full visual transparency during live dealer games. The studio is also equipped with a floor-to-ceiling LED backdrop that enables players to view the entire gaming environment clearly while a game is in progress.
Live dealer gaming has become one of the fastest-growing segments in the global online gambling industry. According to Bloomberry, the format is expanding at roughly 25 percent annually worldwide, driven largely by players seeking real-time interaction with hosts and dealers rather than purely automated casino games.
Another factor behind the growth is transparency. When players can observe card shuffles, roulette wheel spins, and dealer actions in real time, operators argue that it reinforces confidence in the fairness of results.
Online segment shows dynamic growth
The trend has been particularly visible across Southeast Asia’s digital gambling sector. Bloomberry said engagement with live dealer games in the region rose by around 27 percent between April and September 2025, reflecting broader growth in online entertainment.
Mobile gaming is also playing a major role in that expansion. In the Philippines, smartphone penetration has surpassed 80 percent, making mobile users the dominant segment of online gaming audiences.
Bloomberry said the new live studio format was built for mobile streaming. The company said high-definition broadcast technology creates a three-dimensional effect on smaller screens, making cards, chips, and other game elements stand out during play.
The first titles launched under the transparent studio concept include Classic Roulette, Transparent Baccarat, and Dragon Tiger, all of which are streamed live from the new studio environment. Players are able to watch each shuffle, spin, and dealer movement in detail as the games unfold. The company said the goal is to create a more immersive experience that brings elements of a physical casino to online players while keeping the convenience of digital access.
The launch is part of Bloomberry’s wider digital expansion. The megaFUNalo platform was introduced in June 2025, with a soft launch on 7 and 8 June 2025. The online platform is the company’s first major step into the country’s growing digital gaming sector and includes casino games, arcade-style titles, and free entertainment content.
Philippines expansion in focus
Bloomberry’s expansion into online gaming comes as the Philippine market continues to evolve in the years following the pandemic. When lockdowns forced many land-based casinos to shut their doors, a large number of players shifted to digital platforms, accelerating the country’s move toward online entertainment.
Regulatory changes have also played a role. The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation introduced lower tax rates for licenced operators while tightening oversight on offshore gambling operations, moves intended to support legitimate operators in the domestic market.
At the same time, high smartphone adoption, easy access to digital payment services and a long-established gambling culture have helped sustain the sector’s momentum. Analysts now expect the broader gaming industry in the Philippines to continue expanding, with revenues projected to rise by about 17 percent in 2025 to roughly $8.3 billion.
