Elevate AI launches in Malta to power the next wave of AI innovation in iGaming
A bold new accelerator, Elevate AI, has launched with a clear mission: to position Malta as the global hub for AI-driven innovation in iGaming and digital entertainment. Privately led and supported by a strong network of local and international partners—including Ganado Advocates, MDIA, BytePlus (TikTok’s AI division), and MeDirect—Elevate AI aims to attract top-tier AI startups with real-world applications in the gaming sector.
The accelerator is targeting 50 AI startups by 2030, aiming to generate over €250 million in combined valuation, €50 million in follow-on investment, and create 200+ high-value jobs within Malta. It directly supports the ambitions outlined in Malta’s national AI strategy by providing a commercial pathway for AI ventures in regulated markets, particularly the gaming sector.
Unlike traditional accelerator models, Elevate AI follows a revenue-first approach. Rather than focusing on early fundraising, it prioritises helping founders secure commercial contracts and generate early revenue.
“In iGaming, traction speaks louder than pitch decks,” said Keith Zammit, Co-founder of Elevate AI and an experienced B2B sales leader in the gaming sector. “Our founders are coached to land pilot deals and generate revenue within their first 100 days.”
The accelerator works closely with operators, studios, and platform providers to open commercial opportunities for participating startups. Its focus is squarely on applied AI: tools that enhance personalisation, automate compliance, combat fraud, increase retention, and streamline operations across the gaming value chain.
Strategic partnerships with Xjenza, Malta Venture Capital, GD Advocates, DiHUB, and others provide founders with full-stack support—covering legal, regulatory, creative, and financial services.
Elevate AI is now accepting applications for its first cohort, with the programme kicking off in Q4 2025. The team is also actively seeking sponsors and strategic partners in the iGaming industry to expand its commercial and operational reach.
