Acquisitions
Greentube acquires Kingsbet CZ and enters the Czech Republic market
Novomatic’s Digital Gaming and Entertainment division, Greentube, has announced that it is entering the Czech Republic’s B2C online gaming market following its complete acquisition of local online sportsbook and casino operator Kingsbet CZ.
In its announcement of the acquisition, Greentube stated that this development marks “a further step in its strategic expansion across regulated European markets.”
It described the Czech Republic’s regulated market as “attractive” and “fast-growing”, and citing data from the Czech Ministry of Finance, continued that the market in 2025 had a total market value of €2.7 billion. Online gambling reportedly accounted for 59.2% of that total GGR.
Greentube stated that Kingsbet provides local operational expertise and valuable market knowledge, “supporting the company’s long-term ambitions in the country.”
CCO of Greentube, Ronald van den Brink, commented that entering the Czech market is a natural step in Greentube’s long-term growth strategy. “The Czech Republic stands among the most advanced and well-regulated gaming markets in Europe. By joining forces with Kingsbet, we are gaining a strong local team that will support our expansion,” he said.
Kingsbet CEO David Vaněk expressed excitement about the partnership, as he remarked that it will allow Kingsbet to deliver a stronger player experience while continuing to grow in the Czech Republic.

Discussing the acquisition further, LCKY Group stated that it expects the transaction to be immediately accretive, as it said that it should contribute an estimated 18-20% increase in revenue and a 29-31% increase in EBITDA.
