Major launches in key LatAm markets seem to have been one of the prevailing themes of iGaming industry developments this week, with notable launches in Argentina, Peru, and Brazil having been announced.
That said, partnerships and launches in other key regions were also among the latest iGaming developments, as detailed in this ninth edition of SiGMA News’ Industry Reels roundup.
Launches and certifications
KingMidas Games obtains Peru certification
iGaming provider KingMidas Games has announced that 24 of its game titles have obtained certification for Peru, a development which the company said marks a significant milestone in its global expansion strategy.
KingMidas Games said that it is “actively working with multiple accredited testing laboratories to secure additional certifications across key jurisdictions” as part of its broader compliance roadmap.
It continued that this “multi-lab approach” enables it to accelerate speed to market “while maintaining the highest standards of quality, performance, and regulatory compliance across its portfolio”.
The iGaming provider stated that this milestone represents a “pivotal step” in its efforts to expand its global footprint.
“With Peru emerging as one of the fastest-growing iGaming markets in Latin America, KingMidas Games is well-positioned to support operators seeking differentiated and high-performance content tailored to local audiences.”
Global Head at KingMidas Games, Sean Auret, described achieving certification in Peru as a “significant milestone” for the provider “and a testament to the high standards we uphold across our portfolio”. He continued that the company’s ambition is to continue expanding across key global markets, “such as Latin America”.

Stake launches in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina
Online casino and sportsbook Stake has announced its continued Latin American expansion through its launch in Argentina, specifically in the Buenos Aires Province.
Stake stated that this launch means that its globally recognised sportsbook and casino platform is now available to Argentina’s largest and most populous province.
“Operating via stake.bet.ar, under a licence granted by the Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos (IPLyC), Stake will offer Argentinian players access to its premium sportsbook and casino experience, combining cutting-edge technology, a mobile-first platform and a wide-ranging portfolio of gaming content tailored to local preferences,” it stated.
Stake said that this launch further strengthens its momentum across Latin America following recent growth in markets such as Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Peru. It added that this entry also builds on the brand’s growing connection with fans through its ambassador partnership with renowned former Argentina striker Sergio Aguero.
Diana Otalora, LatAm General Manager at Stake, remarked that Argentina was the “natural next step” in Stake’s expansion across Latin America. She said that Stake has continued to build momentum across Latin America in recent years, “and this launch reflects our ambition to establish Stake as the leading entertainment brand in the region”.

Habanero goes live in Greece
Slots and table games provider Habanero announced that it has gone live in Greece, meaning that its catalogue of over 100 games has now become available to players in the Greek market.
Habanero stated that this launch marks its latest addition to its European presence, which it said now spans the majority of regulated markets across the continent, being active in over 25 European markets.
Arcangelo Lonoce, Head of Business Development at Habanero, said that Greece is a market which Habanero had been working towards for some time, “and going live here feels like a natural next step for our trajectory”.
Lonoce commented that Habanero is now active “in just about every major European regulated market,” which he said is “a real testament to the appetite for Habanero content among the biggest brands in the industry”.

Partnerships
Peter & Sons expands in Ontario and the UK through St8 partnership
iGaming studio Peter & Sons has announced that it is expanding its reach across the regulated markets of the United Kingdom and Ontario after agreeing to a new partnership with aggregation platform St8.
Through this partnership, the iGaming studio said that its portfolio will be brought to operators in both markets, as it said that its distribution footprint will be strengthened through St8’s aggregation network.
Peter & Sons said that Ontario “has rapidly established itself as one of North America’s fastest-growing online casino regions,” as it added that the UK “continues to set the pace as one of the industry’s most mature and influential gaming markets”.
The studio said that this partnership supports its broader expansion strategy “by creating additional routes into key markets while maintaining the bold identity and game quality that define the Peter & Sons portfolio”.
Commercial Director at Peter & Sons, Yann Bautista, described Ontario and the UK as “hugely important markets” for the studio. He remarked that partnering with St8 represents an exciting step in the studio’s continued expansion.

Yggdrasil Gaming announces partnerships with South African operators Lucky Fish and Bet Set Win
iGaming publisher Yggdrasil Gaming has announced two new partnerships with South African Operators Lucky Fish and Bet Set Win.
This partnership, which Yggdrasil said involves an integration facilitated by Intelligent Gaming, means that players at both operators will now have access to Yggdrasil’s latest releases, “alongside a selection of top-performing titles from studios participating in the YGG Masters Program”.
The publisher said that these latest partnerships “reinforce Yggdrasil’s position in South Africa, expanding its reach to more than 30 operators across the market”. It commented that South Africa’s iGaming sector “continues to experience significant growth, with the market projected to reach €3.9 billion by 2030”.
Giovanni Fodera, Regional Manager for South Africa at Yggdrasil, said that strengthening Yggdrasil’s position in the South African market is a “key pillar” of the publisher’s growth strategy for 2026.

Gaming Corps launches full portfolio in Brazil through KTO partnership
Game development company Gaming Corps stated that it has continued to expand its reach in Brazil after partnering with online betting and gaming brand KTO.
Through this partnership, Gaming Corps said that its full portfolio will become available to KTO players. It added that KTO is a licensed and fully focused brand in Brazil.
Chief Commercial Officer at Gaming Corps, Graham Greensmith, described KTO as “a standout partner” for the game development company in Brazil. He added that this partnership “is also a strong reflection of where we are heading as a studio,” as he continued that Gaming Corps is “building a portfolio with more range, more flexibility, and more personality”.
Head of Casino, Brazil, at KTO, Myrella Allgayer, said that Gaming Corps fits KTO’s approach of working with providers “that can bring something distinctive to the platform”. She added that this partnership supports KTO’s ambition “to keep building a premium, innovative, and locally resonant experience for players in Brazil”.

Ready Play Gaming goes live with SkillOnNet
Entertainment brand SkillOnNet announced that it has successfully launched developer Ready Play Gaming’s slot portfolio across Canada and Mexico, “with additional international markets scheduled to follow later this year”.
In a statement on the development, SkillOnNet said that players on its portfolio of iGaming sites can now experience Ready Play Gaming’s offerings of online slot games.
Ready Play Gaming COO Christoph Härtel said that partnering with SkillOnNet is a “major milestone” for Ready Play Gaming as it continues to expand its international footprint.
“SkillOnNet’s strong presence in regulated markets and extensive operator network make them an ideal partner to help bring our games to even more players globally,” Härtel stated.
