At AIBC Eurasia 2026, global founders, investors and policymakers gathered in Dubai to explore the future of AI, blockchain and emerging technologies. In this documentary, viewers are taken inside one of the world’s fastest-growing innovation hubs, where industry leaders, entrepreneurs and decision-makers come together to exchange ideas and build partnerships across borders.
The summit highlighted how the UAE continues to position itself as a global bridge between innovation ecosystems, connecting East and West through collaboration, investment and forward-thinking policy. Throughout the documentary, Dubai’s transformation into a global meeting point for emerging technology and international business emerges as a defining theme.
A strategic gateway
“A lot of people are choosing the UAE for three reasons in my opinion,” said Tony Ventura, Innovation & Tech expert. “First, they have money to invest here. Second, they receive so many people from so many countries in the world. It is a powerful ecosystem. And finally, the government co-works with the ecosystem. They do not leave people alone here.”
The UAE’s rapid adoption of innovation continues to attract talent and businesses from around the world. For Raj Kapoor, Founder of the India Blockchain Alliance, the speed of decision-making sets the country apart. “I feel what the UAE does is make decisions faster, adopts innovation faster and therefore becomes the one place where everybody wants to come and do a lot of work. I think innovation and the adoption of actual technology they walk their talk,” Kapoor explained.
This supportive environment is reinforced by government policy and forward-thinking regulation. H.E. Maria Camilleri, Ambassador of Malta to Dubai, emphasised the importance of regulatory frameworks that encourage innovation. “What I’ve seen in this country which is very similar to what we do in Malta is an enabling legal architecture,” she said. “Governments are enablers and enablers have to lay the right path for everyone to be able to walk in a way that benefits populations, benefits people, benefits businesses and increases prosperity.”
Connecting across continents
For Olga Yaroshevsky, Managing Director of AIBC, Dubai’s geographic and economic positioning is key to the summit’s success. “Dubai enjoys a perfect position between east and west. And AIBC Eurasia is positioned really strategically to connect the east and the west and also the north and the south,” she said.
The region’s growing entrepreneurial culture also plays a major role in attracting founders. “The UAE is for the people who want to expand and are not scared of taking risk and being creative,” said Emirati entrepreneur and tech investor Dr Sara Al Madani. “It gives that platform to everybody and they support it. So it’s such a beautiful place for entrepreneurship.”
Meanwhile, Laila Rahhal El Aftani, Founder and CEO of Women Business Circle, highlighted the diversity of the summit’s community. “What is beautiful is gathering a lot of high caliber speakers, a lot of potential and professional companies who come from all over the world. All of them are in Dubai today,” she said.
Real business outcomes
Looking further than thought leadership, AIBC Eurasia has become known for turning conversations into tangible deals. “Dubai right now for us is a meeting point of the world,” said Alexander Aukhariev, CEO of Payment Center. “But when we analyse AIBC in Dubai, it’s one of the most effective events for results through meetings.”
Regular attendees echo that sentiment. Artur Manasaryan, CEO of SoftGames, noted the strong commercial value of the event. “It’s our third or fourth time being at the AIBC and it’s always super productive,” he said. For fintech entrepreneur Konstantin Vasilenko, Co-Founder of Paybis, the results speak for themselves. “We have had many deals made through attending AIBC.”
The summit’s growth is closely tied to its history in the region. Reflecting on the event’s origins, Eman Pulis, Founder of SiGMA Group, recalled how Dubai played a critical role during a challenging moment. “Dubai will always hold a special place for me because in the midst of 2021… Dubai saved us,” he said. “Here we are today, six years later with our sixth edition, stronger than ever.”
