Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported total gaming win of $1.35 billion in November 2025, reflecting a 2.39 percent increase from the same month in 2024, according to data from the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB). The performance lifted fiscal year-to-date gaming win for the period from July to November to $6.57 billion, up 2.83 percent year-on-year.
While the statewide figure points to continued resilience, the monthly results highlighted a clear divide between the Las Vegas Strip and other parts of the state. Regional markets outside the Strip once again delivered stronger growth, offsetting softer performance in Nevada’s main tourism corridor.
Las Vegas Strip records monthly dip
The NGCB reported that gaming win on the Las Vegas Strip edged down 0.56 percent year-on-year to $784.3 million in November. This decline contrasted with broader gains elsewhere in Clark County and reflected ongoing pressures linked to visitor volumes and changes in travel patterns. Strip properties nevertheless remained the largest single contributor to statewide gaming revenue and posted a 2.46 percent increase on a fiscal year-to-date basis.
Clark County reported gaming win of $1.19 billion for the month, an increase of 2.04 percent. Outside the Strip, several submarkets delivered double-digit growth, underlining the importance of local and drive-in demand in supporting overall results.
Downtown Las Vegas and neighbourhood markets outperform
Meanwhile, downtown Las Vegas casinos reported gaming win of $87.2 million in November, up 10.32 percent from a year earlier. The Boulder Strip also stood out, recording a 20 percent rise to $79.5 million, while Laughlin posted an 11.61 percent increase to $38 million. Mesquite followed a similar trend, with gaming win climbing 10.69 percent to $18.2 million.
As for North Las Vegas, it recorded a 4.72 percent increase to $25.6 million, while the balance of Clark County was essentially flat year-on-year.
Northern Nevada shows steady growth
Washoe County continued to deliver solid growth, with gaming win rising 6.39 percent in November to $80.9 million. Reno accounted for the bulk of this increase, posting a 7.10 percent rise to $55.6 million. The balance of Washoe County also recorded strong growth of 18.50 percent, while Sparks and North Lake Tahoe reported modest declines.
Elsewhere in the state, the NGCB data showed that Elko County saw gaming win rise 5.29 percent to $35.6 million, supported by gains in both Wendover and the surrounding areas. The Carson Valley area reported a 2.18 percent increase, while other smaller markets combined recorded an 8.23% rise.
Gaming segments show contrasting trends
Across Nevada, slot machine gaming win increased 7.7 percent in November, supported by a win percentage of 6.8 percent. In contrast, table, counter, and card games declined 6.2 percent on a win percentage of 13.9 percent. Baccarat revenue fell 6 percent, while Pai Gow poker and roulette recorded sharper drops. Sports betting provided a counterbalance, with gaming win up 7.9 percent year-on-year, driven by strong football results.
Major sporting and entertainment events took place during the month, including the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, UFC events, and high-profile concert residencies. However, these did not translate into stronger Strip gaming growth or a recovery in visitor numbers.
Tourism decline weighs on Strip performance
According to a report by KLAS Las Vegas, visitor volumes to Las Vegas fell 5.2 percent in November compared with the previous year, with an estimated 3.14 million visitors. For the year to date through November, visitation was 7.2 percent lower than in the same period of 2024. Hotel occupancy averaged 79.4 percent across the city, with Strip occupancy at 82.0 percent and Downtown at 66.4 percent.
Average daily room rates declined as resorts adjusted pricing to support demand, while revenue per available room fell across all major submarkets. Airport passenger traffic was also down year-on-year, although vehicle traffic at the California border increased.
