From 03 to 05 March 2026, SiGMA Africa returns to Cape Town, convening regulators, operators, affiliates, suppliers and investors at one of the continent’s most influential iGaming gatherings. Hosted at the Grand Arena within the GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World complex, the summit reflects Africa’s growing strategic weight in global gaming and offers a structured environment for commercial exchange, policy dialogue and meaningful connection.
SiGMA Africa 2026 will take place inside GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World in Cape Town. Operated by Sun International, GrandWest is a large-scale entertainment complex combining conference facilities, a casino, restaurants, hotels and leisure venues within a secure, integrated precinct.
The expo and conference will be held specifically at the Grand Arena inside the GrandWest complex on 04 and 05 March 2026. The exhibition floor will be open from 10:00 to 18:00 on both days, while the conference programme will run from 11:00 to 16:00.
What to expect: Three days of business and networking
The programme is designed to move seamlessly from curated networking to high-level discussion and industry recognition, without overwhelming the schedule. Delegates can generate their conference badge ahead of arrival here.
Arrival and Industry Celebration
The summit begins with arrivals throughout the day, allowing delegates to settle in and prepare for the days ahead. From 11:00 to 20:00, pre-registration will be open at Tiger’s Milk within the GrandWest complex, enabling attendees to collect badges in advance and avoid queues. A valid passport or ID is required for badge collection.
Additionally, Day 0 offers a range of premium networking opportunities to set the tone ahead of the conference. From 7:00- 14:30, the SiGMA Golf tour, presented by SiGMA Nexus Elite, touches down in Africa at the King David Mowbray Golf Club. This VIP experience offers a relaxed environment to foster healthy competition and business opportunities, bringing industry leaders together on the fairway before the conversations move to the conference floor.
The excitement then continues from 8:45-13:30 with the official Sip & Safari Experience, brought to you by Alea. This unforgettable activity takes place at Durbanville Wine Valley allowing guests to enjoy award-winning wines, scenic rolling kills and the opportunity to spot local wildlife.
The evening culminates in the SiGMA Africa Awards, endorsed by BETCONSTRUCT AI, from 20:00 to 00:00 at Market Hall, GrandWest. The ceremony recognises excellence across the gaming and affiliate sectors and provides a formal setting to open the week’s engagements.
Expo, Conference and Curated Experiences
Day one and two of the expo and conference take place at the Grand Arena from 10:00, with a diverse exhibition floor bringing together B2B and B2C brands, technology providers and the Startup Village.
The conference programme runs from 11:00 to 16:00, addressing regulation, compliance, certification, player care, product development and market expansion. From 12:05 to 12:25, the Inaugural Ribbon-cutting Ceremony will formally open the summit, led by Eman Pulis, Founder of SiGMA Group, alongside Deidré Baartman, Provincial Minister of Finance of the Western Cape, who will deliver the official opening address. This moment sets the institutional tone for two days of focused dialogue on growth, regulation and market maturity.
The exhibition and conference resumes at the Grand Arena from 10:00 and 11:00 respectively, continuing discussions on leadership, integrity in sports betting, payments, affiliates and the SiGMA Startup Pitch Africa.

The summit concludes with the SiGMA Closing Night Party, an unforgettable finale set for 05 March from 19:00 to 02:00 at Destino, GrandWest. This year’s theme channels the spirit of Wild Africa, transforming the newly revamped, two-level venue into an immersive celebration of rhythm and colour. The main dance floor comes alive with sets from top local South African DJs, while costumed performers bring the theme to life with high-impact entertainment throughout the night. Upstairs, an exclusive VIP area offers a more intimate vantage point above the action, the perfect setting for high-level networking in a charged yet sophisticated atmosphere. After three days of deal-making and industry insight, the Official Party closes the summit in true SiGMA style.

Good to know before you travel
A smooth visit begins with practical preparation:
- South Africa uses Type M plugs with a 230V supply, so a universal travel adapter is recommended.
- March falls in late summer in Cape Town, with average daytime temperatures around 24 degrees Celsius and cooler evenings. Light clothing is suitable for daytime, with a jacket for evening events.

- All delegates should carry valid identification at all times for venue access and registration purposes.
