As SiGMA strengthens its global presence, Brazil has become one of the group’s most important growth markets. To mark this new chapter, the SiGMA team assembled in São Paulo for the official inauguration of its newly refurbished office, a milestone in the company’s expansion across Latin America.

The celebration brought together the Brazil team, partners and industry friends for a celebration featuring live jazz and soul music, conversations and reflections on the team’s achievements. With remarks from Co-Founder & Board Member at the Brazilian iGaming Summit (BiS), Alessandro Valente, and video messages from founder Eman Pulis and CEO Emily Micallef, the event recognised a newly renovated workspace and the people whose dedication has helped establish Brazil as a key pillar of SiGMA’s global success.

Opening the celebration, Alessandro Valente reflected on the significance of the new office as a shared achievement for the Brazil team and SiGMA’s wider journey in Latin America. He described the new space as a symbol of the company’s commitment to supporting the continued growth of Brazil’s thriving gaming industry and thanked founder Eman Pulis, CEO Emily Micallef and the wider SiGMA team for their trust and support. “It is a great honour to share this space and share this journey with you, ” said Valente. “I wish we could continue for many years and explore more territories in Latin America and elsewhere.”

A milestone built by the Brazil team

Opening the new office marked more than the completion of a renovation project; it represented SiGMA’s constant investment in Brazil and celebrated the people whose hard work has supported the company’s growth across the region. Although unable to attend in person, CEO Emily Micallef shared a video message congratulating the Brazil team on reaching this important milestone. “This isn’t just an office space. This is the place when you’re going to work with each other, share ideas, and continue building something strong as part of a global team.” Emily thanked the team for the dedication shown throughout the project, recognising the many hours of work behind the scenes.

Brazil’s role in SiGMA’s global growth

Founder Eman Pulis also addressed attendees through a recorded message, expressing his appreciation for the Brazil team’s contribution to SiGMA’s international success. “I wish I could be there with you physically, but I can guarantee that I’m with you in spirit.” Reflecting on the company’s journey, Pulis highlighted Brazil’s role in developing SiGMA’s global presence. “You guys have made us truly global.” He added that the success of the Brazil team has strengthened SiGMA’s position throughout Latin America and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting future growth. “We want to make sure that you guys have the best foundations, the best offices, the best support that you can have so we can keep growing together from strength to strength.”

Celebrating a new chapter

The inauguration offered an opportunity for colleagues, partners and friends to celebrate together in the newly transformed office. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed live music, conversations and networking in a relaxed atmosphere that reflected the relationships built within SiGMA’s Brazil community.

Carlos Cardama, Co-Founder of the BiS, reflected on the team’s journey and the culture that has shaped SiGMA’s presence in Brazil. “I am very proud of everything that has been built in our office, proud of every member of our team, and proud of all the achievements we have accomplished together,” Cardama said. “There is nothing better than having an office that I consider a true temple of work, peace and mutual respect.”

More than the opening of a revamped office, the celebration recognised the people behind SiGMA’s continued growth in Latin America. Going forward, the Brazil office will serve as a hub of collaboration, innovation and the next chapter of SiGMA’s journey in the region.
