The SiGMA golf tournament debuted at the AIBC Eurasia summit in Dubai and proved a major success. The next stop on the Golf Tour is Cape Town’s King David Mowbray Golf Club. On 3 March, during the first day of SiGMA Africa 2026, C-level participants will meet on the green to kick off the summit with high-quality networking through a competitive round. Here is what will happen on the course in Cape Town, and how the Dubai tournament played out.

Where and when the tournament will take place

The golf tournament will be held on 3 March at King David Mowbray Golf Club, one of Cape Town’s landmark clubs, on an 18-hole championship course. The meeting point will be the Welcome Centre Entrance at the GrandWest complex, where a complimentary shuttle will take participants to the club and back. The venue choice is deliberate: the club regularly delivers a high level of service for VIP guests and tournaments, while the course itself is known for a thoughtful layout with century-old trees, water features and wide fairways. The experience will be rounded out by views of Table Mountain and Devil’s Peak, two of Cape Town’s signature landmarks.

Who the organisers expect on the day

SiGMA Golf Tour is an invite-only event. Organisers expect applications from business owners, C-level executives and board members in the iGaming sector, as well as functional leads and decision-makers. They are also targeting specialised providers and industry players for whom closed-door networking is a priority. If you are interested in taking part, register your interest as early as possible. The expected guest count is around 40 and places may fill quickly. If you plan to participate, keep the first half of 3 March free (07:00–14:30).

How the day on the course is structured

The format is designed to blend sport, networking and entertainment in an informal yet premium setting. Player groups (flights) are assembled together with golf experts, and not at random: two criteria are used – playing level and networking goals. Flights are mixed to keep the pace comfortable for everyone, so participants remain engaged in both the tournament and the conversations.

On the day, participants will have:

  • breakfast on arrival;
  • play an 18-hole round;
  • then move into a networking lunch followed by the winners’ presentation.

What the prizes will be

While the main purpose of the tournament is to create high-quality networking, the competitive side remains an important feature. Prizes will be presented at the end of the event.

In Dubai, the awards were:

  • first place – a Rolex watch;
  • second place – an iPhone;
  • third place – a VIP table at the closing party.

The same prizes have been confirmed for the Cape Town tournament winners.

How the Dubai tournament went

The Golf Tour premiered as part of AIBC Eurasia in the UAE. On 9 February 2026, 50 players – C-level industry representatives – gathered at Trump International Golf Club Dubai. The Dubai launch showed how naturally golf fits into a summit programme. The format worked thanks to the calibre of the participants, the organisation (a shotgun start was tested), and the finale – a networking lunch with an awards ceremony. Players who attended the premiere say the format was a clear summit hit, and that organisers succeeded in turning it from an “extra activity” into a standalone, elite networking slot.

SiGMA Golf Tour 2026: next stops

  • São Paulo (April);
  • Manila (June);
