The energy was electric on 06 November at SiGMA Central Europe 2025 as five promising startups went head-to-head in the AIBC Startup Pitch. With creativity and entrepreneurial spirit on full display, the event once again championed the next generation of tech disruptors shaping the future of Web3, AI and digital ecosystems. This year’s competition saw Vitalentum emerge as the winner, impressing both the judges and the audience with its AI-powered image platform, a product that blends cutting-edge generative technology with blockchain innovation. The judging panel included a diverse array of industry veterans including: Roberto Magnifico, Partner and Board Member at Zest Innovation, Austeja Lazaraviciute, Investor at Coinvest Capital, Keith Zammit, CEO at Elevate AI and Maurivsz Gasiewski, CEE Mobile Gaming and Apps lead at Google.

This edition of the AIBC Startup Pitch was powered by partners such as r77, CSB Group and Ikigai ventures. The winners received a comprehensive prize package including: a Technology Foundation Package of up to €400,00, Brand Development Package of €7,000, Talent Development Package of €2,000, Corporate Setup Package, Executive Networking Package and more.

The road to victory

The competition began with Thrilld Labs who presented their Web3 event and networking ecosystem, combining a networking app for Web3 professionals and events with decentralised ticketing and event management. Next came Babushka, who presented their playful Tamagotchi- style game with crypto rewards. They described having a Millennial and Gen Z target audience with a mix of nostalgia and some Web3 gaming mechanics.

Appletree presented their blockchain token based project focusing on custom ESG Certification Programme for companies, with self assessment verification and token rewards. Their token mechanics include staking, liquidity incentives, treasury distributions and automatic burning mechanics. Then came SuperSiuu, describing themselves as a young team of digital natives, they aim to create an immersive entertainment hub, creating a central hub for everything sports related, including community features, live streams, sports betting and messaging.

The spotlight however, ultimately fell on Vitalentum. Having already pitched in Malta three years ago, their product wowed the judges. Based in Europe, Vitalentum offers an AI-powered image generation platform designed to empower creators, businesses and developers. The platform provides a growing library of AI-generated images across multiple categories, from nature to abstract design, alongside a text-to-image generator that transforms user prompts into high-quality visuals within seconds.

The company integrates AI chat tools, custom automation features and a tokenised ecosystem through its VTL Tokens, which unlock enhanced functionality and potential for community-driven engagement. Together, these tools form an intelligent creative hub that merges AI innovation with decentralised access, redefining how users interact with visual content online.

Vitalentum’s pitch stood out for its clarity, scalability and strong business model. The team highlighted how their AI Image Factory and Smart CMS solutions are already gaining traction through a B2B subscription model, serving users who rely on AI generation tools for content creation and social media automation.

The judges praised the startup’s holistic approach, combining usability, automation and ethical AI practices, while maintaining a strong focus on creator empowerment and digital transparency. With over 22,000 regular users and a retention rate between 20-30%, the company’s traction reinforced investor confidence in its long-term potential.

Speaking with SiGMA after the win, Nikolajs Malisevs, representing Vitalentum, expressed his gratitude and excitement for the team’s achievement: “Thank you for giving us the opportunity to present ourselves and get the prize because it means a lot to us. It’s one of the awards that we were truly hunting for because it’s a chance to stress test our ideas and get some feedback from the investors, that they truly believe in our concept. We hope to make it even wider, even better and expand ourselves to reach bigger markets and succeed in a bigger way.”
