1xBet appoints Chris Bird and Quirino Mancini as strategic consultants
Betting company 1xBet has announced that Chris Bird and Quirino Mancini have joined the company as strategic consultants to support the development of global player protection initiatives and responsible gaming frameworks.
It said that the appointments reinforce the brand’s commitment to responsible gaming and evidence-based player protection across its international operations, and added that they form part of 1xBet’s ongoing effort to strengthen global integrity and social responsibility initiatives.
Bird has extensive experience in international sport, as 1xBet noted his former position as a senior executive at Manchester City Football Club. It continued that Mancini is a recognised authority in gaming law and regulation as former President of the International Masters of Gaming Law and a serving member of the Executive Committee.
The company said that both consultants will be contributing to the development of long-term frameworks designed to support research, policy dialogue, and practical tools aimed at improving player safety and promoting sustainable industry practices.
It said that one of the projects that Bird and Mancini will be building on is the Player Protection Index Series, “an independently commissioned research programme examining responsible gaming frameworks across multiple regions”.

Golden Whale appoints Jaime Ocampo as Asia Managing Director
Provider of data-driven services and machine-learning technology Golden Whale Productions has appointed Jaime Ocampo as Asia Managing Director.
The company stated that this marks a significant step in its expansion across the region and continued that Ocampo will lead its commercial growth and regional strategy across Asia-Pacific while supporting operators in adopting continuously learning models.
Golden Whale CEO EberhardDürrschmid said that Asia is a strategically important region for the company, describing it as a “diverse and fast-moving market”. He said that Ocampo’s combination of experience across gaming, data, and commercial strategy closely aligns with how Golden Whale supports operators.
Speaking about the appointment, Ocampo said that Asia presents a significant opportunity, “particularly as operators look to move beyond traditional campaign structures and adopt more adaptive, data-driven approaches to player engagement”.
He commented that Golden Whale’s technology is built to support that transition, and added that he looks forward to working closely with partners across the region towards unlocking new levels of performance and efficiency.

Swintt appoints former COO Etienne Azzopardi as Managing Director
Software provider Swintt has appointed Etienne Azzopardi, its former COO, as Managing Director.
It stated that this appointment has been made permanent following a successful three-month stint where Azzopardi operated as Managing Director on an interim basis. It said that he will now go on to lead the company’s product strategy, future market expansion plans, and team development.
“I feel very privileged to be taking the role on a permanent basis and believe this will be the catalyst for Swintt to continue its outstanding recent growth in regulated markets worldwide. With a packed product roadmap already planned for 2026, it’s going to be an amazing journey, and I’m excited to continue growing the Swintt brand,” Azzopardi said following the appointment.

DATA.BET presents GLI-certified sportsbook solution for Brazil
Sportsbook solution supplier DATA.BET was back on the expo floor at BiS SiGMA South America 2026, where it presented a complete sportsbook offering covering sports and esports, which the DATA.BET team said is specifically tailored for casino and sports betting brands looking to enter or expand in the regulated market.
DATA.BET stated that it holds GLI certification for Brazil, “which eliminates the need for additional technical validation and allows operators to reduce time to launch”.
Head of PR and Marketing Natalie Loshatynska said that the company’s return to BiS SiGMA South America felt like a natural checkpoint. She remarked that the last time the team was there, DATA.BET had been an esports-focused company, but is now back with a full sportsbook solution.
Loshatynska said that the company’s sportsbook solution is strengthened by extended coverage, local certification, and products and tools specifically adapted for local clients.
“All of these steps demonstrate the commitment to establishing ourselves in Brazil as a leading supplier with expertise in key betting verticals,” she commented.
DATA.BET stated that it “continues to invest in its technology and coverage to support partners targeting one of the fastest-growing regulated betting markets in the region”.

Gaming Corps partners with the Tote and launches slot titles
Sweden-based Gaming Corps, a publicly-listed game development company, has partnered with the Tote, a betting operator owned by the UK Tote Group.
Gaming Corps stated that, through this partnership, it will be bringing a selection of its slot titles to the Tote’s casino platform, with the integration giving the Tote’s player base access to a range of releases.
Graham Greensmith, Chief Commercial Officer at Gaming Corps, regarded the Tote as one of Britain’s most recognisable betting brands, “with a history that stretches back nearly a century”.
He said that bringing Gaming Corps’ content to the Tote’s casino offering allows for the introduction of their games to a highly engaged audience while also working alongside a partner that understands the value of innovation and entertainment.
The Tote’s Head of Gaming, Ian Nicholls, remarked that Gaming Corps offers a “distinctive mix of themes and mechanics”. He said that the Tote is pleased, as part of its ongoing platform development, to bring Gaming Corps’ games to the Tote’s players.

VeliGames expands content library, partners with several content providers
VeliGames, an aggregation platform by VeliTech, has partnered with several content studios, as it stated that it continues to strengthen its line-up with external content partners, “delivering a major portfolio power-up every quarter”.
It announced that new providers now available through VeliGames include Amigo Gaming, Playnetic, FA CHAI Gaming, GameBeat, Ready Play Gaming, Slot Mart, Dynabit Gaming, EEAI, IMK 365, and Triple Cherry.
The aggregation platform stated that the total number of games available is now over 35,000, with over 160 different suppliers.

Stakelogic partners with Casino Elite
Casino provider Stakelogic has partnered with Belgian operator Casino Elite in a partnership which will see Casino Elite players gain access to a tailored Stakelogic rollout of games and live entertainment game shows.
Stakelogic Account Manager Jolene Magri said that this partnership “gives the brand a broader content proposition with plenty of variety for players” while also reflecting the flexibility that Stakelogic can bring to different markets and operator strategies.
Pierre Decourt, Marketing Director at Casino Elite, said that the Belgian operator’s focus is on creating an experience that feels modern, accessible, and varied while staying true to the roots of gaming in Belgium. He remarked that the rollout with Stakelogic is a strong fit for that vision and brings players a broad mix of distinctive formats.

Playson enters Kenyan market through Betika partnership
Digital entertainment supplier Playson has officially entered the Kenyan market following a landmark partnership with East African gaming operator Betika.
Playson stated that the launch marks a significant step in its cross-continental expansion strategy, as it said that Betika provides a strong and established platform for its debut in the region.
Playson continued that, by partnering with a market leader, it is well-positioned to make an immediate impact across East Africa. The supplier added that Betika’s extensive customer base and track record make it a key partner for international suppliers looking to enter and scale within the region.
Through this partnership, Playson stated that its content will be made available to players in Kenya and Uganda, “leveraging Betika’s growing multi-market footprint”.
The supplier added that the integration was facilitated through the Casimba (Markor) aggregation platform, “enabling efficient deployment and scalability across jurisdictions”.

LCKY Group’s Lucky Casino launches in Spain
LuckyCasino, a brand forming part of the LCKY Group portfolio, announced this week that it has launched in the Spanish market.
LCKY Group stated that this means LuckyCasino has become the second brand in its portfolio to operate in Spain, with the first being OneCasino.
It said that it is confident that LuckyCasino will establish itself as a major player in the regulated Spanish market, which it commented is considered a “particularly important territory” for LCKY Group’s long-term growth ambitions.

Yggdrasil partners up in new Germany launch with Lottohelden
Yggdrasil announced a new agreement with a focus on Germany, as it said that it has entered into a partnership with Lottohelden.
It said that this agreement has reinforced its position as a leading supplier of premium gaming content in regulated markets, as it said that more than 100 titles are now available to Lottohelden players.
Yggdrasil stated that Germany remains a strategically important market. Phillip Taylor, Yggdrasil’s Head of Region for Europe, said that the integration with Lottohelden marks another important step in expanding Yggdrasil’s reach in key regulated markets.

BC.Game launches in Nigeria after securing sports betting and casino licence
Online entertainment platform BC.GAME has launched in Nigeria after securing a sports betting and casino licence. It said that Nigeria has become its second regulated market launch after it received a Kenyan licence the previous year.
BC.GAME stated that Nigeria is regarded as a high-potential casino and sports betting market, and CEO Kar Kheng Giam said that as the company expands into new regulated markets, it is focused on making the platform easier to understand while continuing to improve in user communication.
The company stated that this launch forms part of its broader strategy to expand its presence in regulated markets around the world, as it also referred to its Anjouan licence and said that it maintains its focus on strengthening its regulatory footprint while targeting sustainable, long-term growth across multiple jurisdictions.

BETBY reports Q1 growth, ‘record-breaking’ March
Sportsbook supplier BETBY stated that it has reported a strong start to 2026, as it said that the first quarter highlighted sustained growth across its sportsbook and proprietary esports vertical, Betby Games.
It said that these results reflect the provider’s continued focus on product development, market expansion, and delivering consistent value to its global operator network.
Detailing its results, BETBY said that its sportsbook recorded a 61% year-on-year increase in Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) and added that the number of active players grew by 38%. It said that Betby Games also delivered a solid performance, as it achieved a 42% year-on-year increase in GGR and grew active player numbers by 32%.
It stated that March marked a record-breaking month for the company, “further reinforcing the supplier’s positive trajectory and momentum heading into the rest of the year,” as it noted the upcoming, packed sports calendar, including the World Cup.

Digitain receives authorisation to operate in Ontario, Canada
iGaming solutions provider Digitain stated that it has been authorised to operate in Ontario, Canada, as the company is now officially registered as a Gaming-Related Supplier in the province.
Digitain said that this milestone marks a significant and important step in its strategic expansion into regulated markets. It stated that, with this authorisation, it is now permitted to supply its proprietary gaming content within Ontario, “further strengthening its global footprint”.
The iGaming solutions provider regarded the Ontario market as a representation of one of the most dynamic and rapidly growing regulated iGaming jurisdictions in North America, and added that its entry into the market “opens new opportunities for collaboration and partnership with local and international operators seeking high-quality, certified gaming solutions”.

RubyPlay partners with Caesars Entertainment in Ontario
Staying with the topic of the Ontario market, B2B iGaming company RubyPlay announced that it is strengthening its presence in Ontario through a new partnership with Caesars Entertainment.
RubyPlay said that this partnership forms part of its broader North American growth strategy, and added that it will see a curated selection of its titles become available on Caesars Entertainment’s online casino platforms, including Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, and Horseshoe Online Casino.
It stated that this partnership is set to expand in the near future through the addition of content from Koala Games, which the company said is one of its most popular titles. It added that the launch with Caesars represents a significant milestone for RubyPlay in Ontario, “building on its momentum following its initial entry into the province early last year”.
