Online betting software company Playtech has announced that it will enter the U.S. betting market as it expands its footprint into Ohio with a partnership with Gold Rush. Playtech will provide its retail kiosk and management systems to 40 gaming and entertainment venues in Ohio.

This partnership is strategically important for Playtech to expand its betting network in the United States.

Jonathan Doubilet, General Manager of Playtech USA, said the partnership with Gold Rusk “will bring our extensive experience in retail sports betting to the US market for the first time.” He added that the company is confident in expanding into Ohio and that Playtech has chosen the right location to start, saying the deal will leverage “our expertise and impressive track record to offer self-betting kiosks throughout the state.” We are excited to promote this type of betting and look forward to introducing more products to the growing US market. “

Gold Rush and Playtech will expand the new partnership to other parts of the Midwest through Gold Rush subsidiaries serving the Ohio and Illinois video betting markets.
