Fortuna Poland has entered into an exclusive partnership with Kanal Zero, one of the country’s fastest-growing digital platforms. With more than 2.2 million subscribers, 1.8 billion views, and 7 million monthly users, Kanal Zero has quickly become one of Poland’s most influential media projects. Founder and entrepreneur Krysztof Stanowsky launched Kanal Zero in 2024.
Beyond the traditional current affairs format, it produces a mix of programmes from interviews, debates, sports, lifestyle features, and commentary.
Propelled by digital adoption, regulatory reforms and the rising demand for online demand, the country’s betting market continues to grow. Online betting and iGaming platforms remain the leaders of this expansion. Additionally, market estimates forecast growth at a compound annual rate of 6.9 per cent through 2031, according to several media outlets.
Strategic partnership
Digital media in Poland is booming in 2026. Internet penetration has reached nearly 90 per cent, social media usage covers more than 70 per cent of the population, and digital ad spending is expected to hit $2.32 billion this year.
The shift toward online platforms, programmatic advertising, and connected TV is reshaping the media landscape. DataReportal notes that Poland now counts 34.1 million internet users (89.8 per cent penetration), 27.1 million social media identities (71.3 per cent of the population), and 53.8 million mobile connections, equivalent to 142 per cent of the population, as many users hold multiple SIMs.
Additionally, the partnerships will feature brand visibility across Kanal Zero’s platforms. It will promote activations to its audience and exclusively target sports, entertainment, and digital content consumers. Furthermore, having these selective partnerships enables deeper audience engagement, highlighting the growing integration of betting into the country’s digital media ecosystem.
European expansion
Kanal Zero’s core audience is young, digitally native Poles. They tend to consume long-form interviews, debates, and sports content. Additionally, its strong following in major cities mirrors the country’s broadband penetration and appetite for digital media, according to media reports.
While most are Polish consumers, the channel’s YouTube format allows international viewership. Programmes such as sports and debates attract male-dominated audiences interested in football and current affairs. Meanwhile, lifestyle and commentary attract younger, more diverse audiences.
With a focus on high-profile interviews with politicians, celebrities, and experts, this enables better credibility and demographic reach. For Fortuna Poland, this audience is ideal: sports-oriented, digitally savvy, and expansive in scale.
Fortuna’s parent company, Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG), has been actively expanding across Europe. It acquired a 70 per cent stake in Topsport, Lithuania’s leading omnichannel gaming operator with a 54 per cent market share and 24 years of local presence. In Montenegro, FEG secured a 51 per cent stake in Lob, the country’s second-largest sports betting and gaming operator, with the option to gradually increase its share. The Montenegro deal marks one of the largest recent foreign direct investments in the nation’s entertainment sector.

Competitive landscape
The betting market in the country has become highly competitive with local operators like STS and Fortuna facing mounting pressure from international brands, including bet365, Betclic, and Betway. Additionally, the government’s plan to increase tax winnings from 10 per cent to 15 per cent is reshaping the competition. Meanwhile, new digital entrants are enticing customers with aggressive bonuses and mobile-first technology.
