Holland Casino Online restructures leadership, appoints new director
Holland Casino Online has announced leadership changes as part of a restructuring at its head office. Effective 1 April, Jan Paul van Heemskerck of Beest will take over as Director of Guest & Product Development, replacing Jeroen Verkroost, the current Director of Digital Transformation.
Verkroost will be leaving the company at the beginning of next month as Holland Casino Online has decided to eliminate the role of Director of Digital Transformation. The company said the restructuring will streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
Experienced leader steps up
Jan Paul van Heemskerck of Beest joined Holland Casino Online in September 2022. In his new role, he will be responsible for improving the online gaming experience and ensuring high-quality service for players. His background and experience in guest engagement and product development position him well for this role.
Pieter Boers to oversee casino technology
With Verkroost’s departure, Holland Casino Online has also appointed Pieter Boers as Director of Casino Technology & Operations Support. Boers, who has been with Holland Casino since 1998, has held multiple roles within the organisation, including in the IT department.
His extensive experience within the company will support the brand’s technological development and operational efficiency. The appointment ensures continuity in IT leadership and casino technology management.
Holland Casino’s growth and online expansion
Holland Casino was established after the Dutch government granted the National Foundation for the Exploitation of Casino Games the country’s only casino licence in 1975. The company launched its first casino in Zandvoort in 1976 and has since expanded to 14 physical locations across the Netherlands.
Recognising the shift towards digital gaming, Holland Casino launched Holland Casino Online on 4 October 2021. The platform offers a regulated online gaming experience, catering to the growing demand for legal and responsible online betting in the Netherlands.
